  • Neelah Hinds, Executive Director

    Hi, I’m Neelah Hinds. I’m a native New Yorker, but Georgia is home. I am a wife, mother of 3, a culinarian, a baker, and an educator. I attended Oakwood University, Huntsville Al. , and Gwinnett Technical College, Lawrenceville Ga. I love to read, draw, sing, paint, garden, make things, and make messes! My personal goals are to inspire others to join the fight to create a more equitable and sustainable food system, encourage new and existing entrepreneurs, and make veggies fun.

    I'm Scott Hinds, an IT professional, family man, and church member fighting for social justice. My faith and family values inspire my dedication to promoting equity and inclusivity for marginalized communities. Through my photography, I showcase the world's beauty and advocate for representation. My commitment to creating a better, more just world drives me every day.

  • Rashaad Pressley

    I am a Software Engineer at Salesforce where in addition to my role as a Senior Developer I have led initiatives in increasing the accessibility of several products and participated in several company-supported volunteer activities. I am happy to spend my time giving back to my community and I also enjoy music, sports, and spending time with my family.

  • Rosy Gumbs

    My name is Rosy Gumbs and I am passionate about mental health and giving back to the community. I have a background in Elementary School Counseling and have worked in private practice for 2 years. I am passionate about working with clients that have a difficult time establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries, stress management, and life transitions/adjustment difficulties. I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. I believe in helping my local community and giving back when I can.

  • Kelsey Francis

    My name is Kelsey Francis. I am from Brooklyn New York and currently reside in Covington, Ga. I have a BA in Liberal Arts from Clayton State University, and a Master in Management from Strayer Univerity, and plan to pursue a Doctorate in Management or Education. My personal mission as it relates to entrepreneurship is to accelerate the minds of people to express their creativity and sustainability in making their environments better.

  • Jon Grant

    My name is Jonathan Grant, I am a native of Jacksonville, Fl. I’m an Assistant Professor of Sociology and Africana Studies at the University of North Florida. I have a BA in Theology from Oakwood University, an MA in African American Studies from Clark Atlanta University, and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Georgia State University. I’ve worked for community organizations in the Atlanta area such as the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Pangea Institute, and The Come-Up Project. I’ve spent years teaching classes on social inequality, social theory, race, Africana studies, Atlanta studies, research methods, and social stratification. I’ve published on issues related to race, social class, and educational disparities in the South.
